Hand made by village based craftswomen in Southern Pakistan using the finest local yarns. We use beautiful embroidery grade cotton with a silk-like sheen and handmade metallic yarn for all our designs. Cotton provides durable and comfortable wear against skin.

Our ethos is to keep all pieces special to both maker and wearer, so there is only one of each colour combination in any style. We work to co-design, design exchange and collaborative principles, the artisans and the founder of S jo (Seher), work together to create various pieces - that nurture creative expression and freedom. 

Mostly, the artisans do their own colour palettes and compositions of the pieces to develop individual styles. All pieces come with a label that tells you the name of the craftswoman who made your piece and a village code. 

Please note: All our products are made entirely by hand and have the distinctive nature of handmade products. Slight variations between pairs of earrings, especially, are a cherished feature of the handmade not a defect.
