Pink is one of my favourite colours to wear right now. When I was a teenager I had my ups and downs with pink. Pink and purple were my favourite colours growing up but as a teenager I shunned pink as it was not ‘cool’. It wasn’t until a dear friend and my mother went shopping with me and picked out a beautiful and subtle petal pink broderie anglaise fabric for me to have stitched that I embraced the idea of wearing pink again. The subsequent compliments I got while wearing it, made me realise and accept that I liked it, and it suited my skin colour and tone.
